Ray doesn’t know if he wants to be a thug, a playboy (hence For the Love of Ray J), or whatever else. I agree with the general census that Ray J (though handsome) is a pathetic singer, but I feel sorry for him because HGM should not have tried to compare the two lyrically unbalanced songs. You should have used Ray’s pseudo-ballad “One Wish”, now yes, I know that “One Wish” is an annoying, whining, crybaby song that opens strangely mid-sentence(“as a matter I was the one who said I loved you first…”), but the point is, that would have been a much better and fairer song.

no comparison. raheem devaughn is super talented, and i can’t wait until his talent gets recognized in the industry. i hope and pray he does not get caught up, and sticsks to his master plan of making great music with heart soul and meaning.

Raheem vs Ray J? What next? Rakim vs Young MC? LOL. If Ray J had a fraction of Raheem’s talent..he would still only make it to ‘aight’ status. The beat and collabos are the keys to the popularity of that song, not his singing.
