Whoever made this comparison is unfair. Cassie is a classy, beautiful young lady, I happen to know for a fact. Her parents are awesome people too. She did not write the lyrics to Official Girl, not to mention the genres of music are totally different. Cassie is a mainstream pop artist, Chrisette is more of a soul, R&B type artist. Compare her to Vivian Green or someone comparable, not Cassie. You may as well compare a Janelle Monae song with a Pussycat Dolls song! Please, diss the writers, not the artist. I must agree with the comment that the comparison is that of apples and oranges. Chrisette is a different type of artist BUT Cassie isn’t an artist at all. Beyonce’ is also a pop/mainstream ARTIST but very talented. Just because a singer is pop/mainstream does not mean that they don’t have to have any talent! Tell that to Michael Jackson!!!
