Nothing about using hand gun violence in the black community is funny. This young woman is blessed to be alive. If you live in a black community were hand guns are constantly used then you too could be a victim and then it won’t be funny. Bullets don’t have names on them and you could get caught in crossfire. Just think about it. Yes she is truly blessed and it wasn’t her time to go. I say some crazy stuff about a lot of pics but you got to give credit where it is due and it wasn’t the weave that stopped the bullet it was God. The point for me is not whether it was God or not. The point was WHY it was newsworthy to say ‘WEAVE STOPPED BULLET’ - it’s a sensational story, and a little funny too, sorry, but it is - that’s why it made news and this site.

News flash: weave ain’t stopping no bullets.
If the bullet’s trajectory and speed hadn’t been diminished (ricochet, pass through metal, through window first and then headrest, etc.), before it got tangled up in her weave, that weave wasn’t going to prevent anything.
I had a friend who was in a bar when someone opened fire from outside. He later found the remains of a bullet lodged in his sweater. He even had sense enough to know that the bullet went through a wall and probably ricocheted off something else before it landed in his sweater. What? The sweater “saved his life”? Come on!
This is just a case of sensationalistic news reporting. Anybody with an ounce of brains and who understands anything about guns and ammunition can see right through this “story.”
