Isn’t the problem NOT teaching your kids how to behave responsibly around certain things? If he was pouring the kid a drink, or getting drunk in front of him, I’d have a problem.
I remember when mini-bars were all the rage. My mum had one, and I did not become a drinker!
Honey and lemon with a dash of rum or brandy cleared many a family member’s chest back in the day.
If you hide everything, your kids may get curious and go exactly in the direction you’re trying to protect them from.
Political correctness has much to answer for – that’s why kids are so naive these days (sucks teeth)…
