Infidelity regardless of the mistresses race is never a good thing. Published reports say she shot and killed him while he slept. She found out that there was a possible second mistress. She even followed the 2nd “other woman” home but never confronted her. The escalade that she was stopped in was registered to both her and Steve McNair but she was responsible for paying the notes. So being mistress number 1 wasnt very lucrative! They say she was stressed because she was paying two car notes. Considering he was renting that condo with a friend of his I don’t believe his wife was clueless about the affair. It’s sad what women in general will allow themselves to put up with for the sake of financial security. That statement applies to wife and mistress. Vows should be sacred. I know many have said that they reserve the right to make a statement until all the story comes out…so allow me to assist:
1. The dude was married.
2. The dude was cheating (by having a misstress).
3. Whether or not his wife knew about it is moot because he was cheating on his marriage, his children, and with an “adult” child at that.
That is all that needs to be said. While McNair did a lot of “good” in his community – he was also “doing a lot of bad” (cheating) with a woman that was barely an adult. That is all that needs to be said.
