  Today’s youth is so different from when I grew up, everyone is so easily offended and quick to anger, ready to show how tough they are for senseless reason’s. The answer is to pick up a gun and shoot so people will know who the baddest is, I miss the days when we stood up and fought for real causes-that just goes back to the old saying “If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything”. We can’t give up on our youth, because if we do the future of our country is at risk.

  I was hoping this was going to be about that man shooting another man in the arm because he was talking during a showing of Benjamin Button in the movie theater in Philly.

  People really need to chill when it comes to guns.

  It just goes to show you that there is still much to be done in the black community. We need to first start taking a stand in raising our children and that means instead of providing them with Grand Theft Auto and other violent games on home game boxes provide them with books. We need to stop dumbing our kids down and challenge them with We are the World instead of Nintendo Wii.

  yea, i think guns are too glorified. i hate having to have one for protection and some may not agree but this world is so scary.

  I agree with you CHi_cay. I am a mother of a son and i am so fearful of him growing up in this hateful world. Becuz you can raise your kid right but you have to worry about the next kid who is all fucked up in the head. I have a gun too unfortunately, you just never know!

  Here in London it’s knife and gun crime! Don’t get me wrong, violence has been around forever, it’s just that in my day you could still get your point across with a beat down – in fact there is more shame attached to being beaten and having to face everyone as the loser afterwards. Guns are for cowards.

  Funny how there’s never any studies done on how there’s been a HUGE rise in RANDOM PUBLIC SHOOTINGS BY DERANGED WHITE MEN. Now why do you think that is? Why is it that every year or two we have to see “Black men are killing each other at such and such rate” but you never hear a peep about how these white dudes are out here murdering and shooting up malls and offices.   The lack of education prevents an individuals from having the knowledge of reading instructions. “Do not point a loaded gun at a person.” Forgive me someone informed the Oldman that he could not read. Atleast down here on the farm the boys and girls can read.

  Even though the mass media plays up gun violence as an epidemic, in actuality knives are used alot more in violent crime.
