Yeah, they try to pass that mentality off as a black thing. It’s not. It’s a ghetto thing. Plenty of black folks see they value in living a healthy lifestyle that includes exercising, eating sensibly, and maintaining a healthful bodyweight (those people are known as “fitness freaks” or “fanatics” to ghetto folks, by the way). The “overweight-as-normal” reality only exists in ghetto-mentality folks. It has nothing to do with being black, per se.
