On a serious note, I would really like to know what the fascination is that so many of our people have with prostitution and pimping. I mean, how fucked up is it that so much of our purported “culture” seems to embrace the shit? Clothing, behavior, mannerisms, even thought seems to encompass the whole “pimping mindset” so much so that its just disgusting.

@ GhettoProfessor, I’ve been asking THAT question for YEARS now, and one thing I know for sure (and I know Im gonna get a lot of flack for saying this) is that young people (and some old) look up to OR imitate NASTY RAPPERS, ie: Snoop / Akon / Lil Wayne/ Lil Kim etc.and MANY nasty SO-CALLED SINGERS who GLORIFY that lifestyle: Pimps Up Ho’s Down / Hard Out Here For A Pimp / Pimpin Aint Easy / Where My Money At ? / B___h Betta Have Ma Money and on and on, IT NEVER STOPS, because they use the tired ol excuse “Im just keepin it real” !
