(My daughter is 4 and my sister is 15) and she posted them on myspace. I had no knowledge of this but my family thought I had taken those pictures. That’s all I was saying

Even if this was meant to be funny the facts remain. Parents are supposed to be the first line of defense as well as the first line of educators for their children. I talk to teachers any chance I get and the general consensous among them is that a large amount of parents send their kids to school unprepared. They say that too many kids know more about pop culture then they do about the basics of reading, writing and arithmatic. These unprepared children go on slipping through the cracks of what is now failing school systems and limp out of high school and are basically unprepared to enter the work force or qualify for college. My point is that this cycle starts with the pic above.
