I think it is time for the world to accept that sometimes, children are born with sveral attributes of one sex and a few from the other. According to her tests, she is majority female, simply has some latent male sex organs. It is not her fault and people should stop treating her like a freak show. She is a professional athlete who deserves some respect for the work she has put in despite her obstacles.

This girl did not have choice in her circumstances, unlike mny of the circus acts we see on here trying to pass themselves off as women!…in fact, we all start out with both sexul organs until the dominant X or Y chromosome takes hold….her development may have just come much later….at least she didn’t have surgery to change her sex!

It wasnt her choice to be born this way. I wonder if they will allow her to continue to participate, I mean she is mostly female but her male attributes, such as higher testatorone, give her an advantage over other females.
I hope the world doesnt abandon or mistreat her now…it wasnt a choice.

While I agree we should have compassion for her/him. The competitions she has entered is for women and she has an unfair advantage in that category.

I agree with all of the prior comments. I can’t imagine how she must feel, with the media putting her on blast and embarrasing her this way. Also a lot of other countries are not so forgiving of things like this. Hopefully she is not in any danger and can proceed to have a good life.

Come on people! Hermaphrodites are not new. This is not even an extreme case of this rare genetic disorder. This is not the first and won’t be the last. For the most part she is a she not a he. I saw a pic of her with a makeover on the net and she looks good and likes the makeover.

Yall can get mad at this one, cause i don’t care, but i have to say that i don’t think it’s fair for her to play in female only games if she pumping more testosterone through her body than most men. True the lord made her and it’s not anyone’s fault that she made the way she’s made. But fair is fair. You can’t take steroids to build yourself up and race, so what’s the difference. You can’t inject yourself with testosterone and run the race so if your body is naturally pumping it out in great amounts then you have to run with the men. I’d be pissed if my little girl lost a race to her and i found out she pumping out male horomones left and right. BE REAL

Has anyone ever considered that this young lady really didnt know herself what was going on with her body, and has probaly just now learned whats going on from all the test results?? Having said that, its totally unfair to knock her, and make fun of her, or even take a medal away from her that she earned. Had she entered as a man in a mans sport, she would have been condemned the same way…so has she no place in this world, because she is different? God made her a little bit different from the rest of us in that aspect but then again arent we all different in one way or the other? I hope she continues to do what she is doing, and has a happy life and future ahead of her
