  I give this show 4 weeks before they cancel it. Im not hating but yall know how it is for black sitcoms on white networks.

  I agree with shon. If it’s anything of quality it won’t last longer than a snowball in hell. All white folks want to see is black folks shuckin and jivin on t.v.

  I hope this show lasts…been checking out the previews.

  I’m slipping….who is that dude in the wheelchair…I’ve seen him before but can’t (like the old folks say) re-collect his name?

  Yep, unfortunately shon is right!….ever since Tyler been raking in the millions, they’ve been trying their hardest to discredit and negatively bash his work, and I’m afraid, this show will suffer the same sort of reviews if it get’s to be too good…. that’s just how they do things!….from the President to any other person of color that they feel is getting to be too big or good at what they do, the evil masses will try to put a stop to it!

  I never did really think house of payne was that funny, it has good messages in it though. I was mad when UPN took off girlfriends, half and half and the rest of my little line up. Now the game and everybody hates Chris is gone. People magazine gave this show a review and gave it 2 stars.

  @Greenbutterfly the guy in the wheelchair, you probably know him best from house party. Think his name was Chill. He kept bumping into the table when Martin was trying to mix lol. He got in a motorcycle accident that caused him to be in the wheelchair. His name is Daryl Mitchell

  @ secret82, I TOTALLY agree, I dont find The House of Payne funny either, BUT, I am glad that at least there’s SOMETHING of color on TV that’s NOT ghetto, and embarrassing ! ..And it’s something I dont mind my kids watching, without having to tell them to CHANGE THE CHANNEL ! (BET, and ALL these so-called Black Reality Shows, OR, NASTY RAP MESS, that you can find on, about 18 hours a day !!..) @ Jannieboo, Im all for supporting ANYTHING for a good cause, !..I just DO NOT want to see another “REALITY SHOW” !.. We need more positive/ educational/ family/ informative, things put out there, cuz Lord knows there’s enough sex, violence, and stereotyping going on. Count me IN !!

  glad to see sum brothas on t.v. but i watched this show me and wifey it s not funny at all, and mike s actin skills are awful, i will stick with the office……………..

  Checked it out last night after football and it’s pretty good meaning it probably won’t be on t.v. too much longer. Whenever black folks take themselves serious on t.v. it’s always cancelled. White folks are always looking for the next Flava Flav to put on. Oh, by the way Daryl “Chill” Mitchel was also in a movie called Galaxy Quest with Tim Allen, pretty funny movie.
