ONE INDUSTRIAL SIZE BOTTLE OF EXTRA-STRENGTH VIAGRA, AND A FIFTY-FIVE GALLON DRUM OF K-Y LUBRICANT, COMING UP! (no pun intended) OL’ BOY IS GONNA STROKE HER ASS BACK TO THE FIFTIES.

-
They Probably Changed Shoes Before The Reception….. i hopee.
-
Well…..truth be told….the suit is wack, real wack, and it DOES look like they in the basement, but looking at the bigger picture, I guess those things don’t matter when ur joined with the one u love in holy matrimony
-
When I got married it was at City Hall. 4 months later we had a huge wedding, champagne fountain, the works. Years later, my family is still talking about my wedding……like I’m the first fuck up. Congrats niggas
-
Damn…. They look a hot ass mess,
but congrats, they look happy so I’m
happy for them. -
Well I’ll give credit for tryin to do the right thing. But they sho’ do look funny, tho. Lol!!!
-
yes congrats nothin makes me happier than to see two people become happily married! (sidebar: is he sticking his tongue out at her? and why homegirl in the back at a wedding reception in jeans?)
-
Beautiful black love……that is all that matters. Who cares if the reception took place in the projects. U can tell a project wall from anywhere. Who cares if his head is to small to see his face and that his pants doesnt match his jacket. Who cares if it is a koolaid jug on the table and no one else dressed up. Who cares of he wore timberleeks instead of dress shoes. Most important thang is love.
-
Now come on aint this a weddin thats fuck up
-
“Girl, you know I been loving you for 25 years. I always wanted to give you a nice wedding, but my money wasn’t right!… so you like how everything look?….what about my suit?… I found a good deal at Dollar General, and they threw in the shoes for half price!”

-
On the positive…Congratulations and God’s blessings to you….it ain’t easy being married.
For some reason I am keep picturing HARPO AND SOPHIA from the movie THE COLOR PURPLE.
-
Well, this just goes to show you; “You DONT have to have a LOT of MONEY to BE IN LOVE AND HAVE A WEDDING” ! And I gotta say at least they did TRY to look nice !! ….CONGRATS ! …………………………. @ Jannieboo66,..Your so sick ! LOL ……But that’s SO TRUE !!..(LOVE)
-
@ Greenbutterfly, How long have you been married ?
-
@Breezy#1….I use to be, that’s why I said it’s not easy. Would’ve been 20 years in March…been divorced for a year. Eventhough we had pre-marital counseling, sometimes “looks can be deceiving”.
I’m all for marriage (between man/woman), but you have to make sure you’re right in order to deal with another person.
When I get married again, we’re going to the courthouse….real talk.
-
I don’t care what the couple have on because they decided to do the honorable thing and get married. I also see that according to the comments that some have had problems with marriage. The one important thing to understand about marriage is that in order to love someone else you have to love yourself first. The second thing and one of the most important ones is that you have to understand the fundamental differences between a man and woman. Most importantly marriage is a commitment not an excuse to have a big party to impress all your friends and family.
-
@reddogman…sho u rite…cuz you’ll go broke as hell trying to impress folks…especially the ones that don’t give a damn about you anyway…they’re just there to be spectators. When it’s all said and done, after the wedding, you have to go home and be the ADAM and EVE and when issues arise, where in the hell were all the “looky-loos” when you need them.
PSA….I ain’t knocking ya’lls comments…cuz truth be told…I was wondering if that was some sweet ass tea in the picture on the right.
xoxoxoxo

-
It could have been worse.
-
THERE IS SOMEBODY FOR EVERYBODY, AT LEAST THEY LOOK HAPPY. CONGRATS!!!!!!
-
this isnt a bad pic…. besides the bride and the baby that needs its hair done
-
Oh, fo sho it’s congrats!….I did trip on the pic, but I respect the institution if marriage. My first, lasted six years, and my second and last, is now in it’s sixth year as well, but much more grounded and successful, because this time God is at the head with me and my wife, and guiding our steps daily. It takes a great amount of patience, communication, love, work, humbleness, prayer, sensitivity and honesty!
-
@ Greenbutterfly, 20 years ! Thats a long time, but I’m sorry to hear it did’nt last. We live and we learn. Like Ragga said; “keep God first” and it’ll be alright ! ( It is WORK though ! ) lol
-
And Congrats to you too Ragga ! Thats the way to do it !
-
@Breezy, Very positive comments. Keep the Afro love going. More Afro-American, Afro-Caribbean, Afro-European, Afro-Latinos got married in NYC this year alone. Afro Power!!!!
-
Thanks Breezy#1!….I appreciate the love!…if more marriages were successful in the black community, I believe our kids would be much better off than they are today!….they don’t have enough of the examples of successfull, supportive families to draw lifes lessons and experiences from…it’s unfortunate!
-
@ Reddogman, That was sweet, and right on point !
-
THe point is is that this is not ghetto and many of you bloggin don’t have money either. I like to see people enjoy within their means!!!
They don’t have a 100 people around this is an intimate gathering!!!! -
